If you’ve been paying attention to the anime community lately, you’ve probably heard the name Koro Sensei. This guy is named as such because of his tendency to say “koro” at the end of his sentences. And, as if that wasn’t weird enough, the guy has no eyebrows and, as you can see in the picture, his eyes are V-shaped and made of paper! So, why is he called Koro Sensei?

Koro Sensei, the main character in the anime “Assassination Class,” has a fascinating backstory. An assassin who teaches Class E-3 in the hopes that one of his pupils would one day be well-trained enough to murder him. Who is Koro Sensei, an Octopus-like creature with a human history?
Koro Sensei is not a human person, at least not at the moment. A poignant backstory reveals that he was once human. He evolved into an octopus-like creature as a consequence of experimentation on him, with the ability to return to his human form on occasion.
Being human may be seen from a variety of perspectives. One may be tempted to claim that Koro Sensei is a human being since he has the intelligence, memory, and emotional characteristics of a human being. Looking at his magical abilities and, dare I say, his physical shape on a holistic level! Humans with tentacles, a big round head, a basic yellow hue, and the capacity to alter that color are unlikely to be classified.
Considering all of this, I believe Koro Sensei is not a human person. Not to imply that he was always like this. Koro Sensei was a human person who had embarked on a harrowing path that no one would want on their adversaries.
What Was Koro Sensei’s Human Appearance Like?
He walked on land, not water, and had two arms, two legs, one face, and hair. Koro Sensei was essentially the same as any other person in terms of physiological and anatomical characteristics. In terms of ethnicity, the film’s authors chose to leave it to our imagination.
In terms of appearance, Koro Sensei was a middle-aged man with a thin frame, dark eyes, and black hair that reached to the nape of his neck. He was fair-skinned and had pale complexion. His job as an assassin left him with well-toned muscles.
Koro Sensei deserves more than an assassin. He was the most powerful assassin of all time. When you were on Koro Sensei’s list, there was no target too safe, no target too large, no target too talented, no target at all. He was the ideal assassin, giving him the moniker “The Reaper.” He was associated with death, and like the Grim Reaper, no one on his list lived to see another day.
Koro Sensei would later take on an apprentice as the tale progressed. This apprentice was taught by him. Let’s take a step back. Koro Sensei was ordered to murder someone, a wealthy guy, and his son was enamored with the manner the mission was carried out. You might compare it to a person falling in love with art in all of its forms. Even for a kid whose parents were killed right in front of his eyes, that wasn’t enough for Koro Sensei. This apprentice will eventually betray him and take on his identity as the Reaper.
Despite the fact that Koro Sensei intended to employ the kid only as an apprentice, his human sense of trust proved to be his Achilles heel this time. It was faith, not beauty, that killed the beast. It was a terrible story to hear, given the circumstances in which he grew up. Growing up in the most despicable slums, where anybody can betray anyone, having your identity stolen by an apprentice you trusted and whose parents you murdered is heartbreaking.

Kaede Kayano tried to murder Koro Sensei in the 37th episode, or the 15th episode of Season 2. Koro Sensei attempted, but failed, to disclose the past of his human form by exposing herself as Aguri Yukimura’s younger sister.
The pupils come to see Koro Sensei as more than simply a valued target, but also as a great instructor, despite his irritating antics, as the episode begins. One of his pupils, Kaede Kayano, attempted to assassinate him. That would have been nothing remarkable on its own, and it would have been safe for two reasons. She had two tentacles that protruded from the back of her neck, and she was Aguri Yukimura’s younger sister, a woman he had previously admired but who was now deceased.
After the unsuccessful effort and the revelation of her background. Koro Sensei then started telling the story of how he got to be who he is today. He described growing up in a shady area where he had no one to trust except himself. He revealed that Aguri Yukimura was a Teacher assigned to keep an eye on him at the institution where he was being experimented on while narrating how he was apprehended. Initially, I hoped to exploit her to get out of the institution, maybe via a Scofield-Sara connection. He accepted his destiny at the institution when she declined to assist him, and the two grew to like one other.
The episode provides a comprehensive account of Koro Sensei’s life as a human being. Now, in his history, I believe episode 37 was the one in which he showed his human form.
Koro Sensei: How Did He Become An Octopus?
After a series of antimatter tests on Koro Sensei’s human form. The squad and Koro Sensei would ultimately learn fresh knowledge that would lead to the circumstances that transformed our beloved human Assassin into an Octopus.
Koro Sensei uses the antimatter currently in him to flee after learning of the plot to destroy him. Aguri Yukimura dies in the crossfire while on a murdering spree with newly grown tentacles. He transforms into an Octopus with a new determination and a series of circumstances.
Aguri Yukimura sacrificed her life to rescue Koro Sensei from a booby trap he had placed during the battle at the institution where he was being kept. The Teacher had started developing a curriculum for her students, Class E-3, before to this. Koro Sensei learnt what it meant to be kind through her time with him at the institution. Yanagisawa, his captor, wanted to find out what would happen if he died. A startling revelation: a huge part of the world would be destroyed as a consequence of the antimatter cells in his body, and he would die on March 13th. Yanagisawa started plotting the assassination of Koro Sensei. Koro Sensei was notified when Aguri Yukimura overheard him, and the struggle that led to his escape started. Aguri Yukimura died in his place, leaving him with a Tie and a last desire for him to attend her class. He then left the institution and proceeded to the Island where the Institution was housed. He designed an Octopus with a yellow base color, using the components of the Island to make an outfit suitable for a teacher.
With a name like Koro Sensei, you might assume the guy in question is a master of martial arts, or is at least a talented martial arts instructor. So it’s a bit of a surprise to find out that this guy isn’t actually a martial artist, he’s just a normal guy who likes playing with the idea of being a master of any number of things..
