The story of Naruto’s childhood friend and fellow ninja, Rin Nohara.
Many fans were angered when the Naruto Shippuden anime skipped over the heroine’s death in the manga, claiming that it was to remove the romantic subplot between Sakura and Kakashi. Others were disappointed that the anime skipped over the entire story of the first couple of arcs, accusing the anime of “ruining” the original story.
Rin and Kakashi are an unlucky pair we don’t comprehend. The tale of sacrifice is not uncommon in the Naruto universe’s storyline; in fact, it is one of the central themes. Doing the right thing, no matter how defined Rin’s death may be.
Rin murdered herself because she was terrified of the three-tailed beast that had been implanted in her, and she was afraid that she would be manipulated by this beast to destroy Konoha, so she leapt into Kakashi’s Chidori and died when Kakashi was using it on some mist ninjas.
We offer you the whole tale about love, sacrifice, grief, and friendship – so watch the episode first before reading!
What Was Kakashi’s Motive for Killing Rin?
Because they couldn’t get away from their foe, Rin wanted Kakashi to kill her. Because they wouldn’t be able to kill Kakashi, the enemy focused on Rin. As Kakashi attempted to kill an opponent with his Lightning Blade, Rin sprang in front of him. Rin was not killed by Kakashi; instead, he took his own life with his assistance.
Kakashi did not assassinate Rin. The Hidden Mist had infused her with the 3 Tailed Beast, and the beast would have gone on a rampage if she returned to the Hidden Leaf Village. Rin purposefully ran into Kakashi’s Chidori, killing herself in the process. Rin Nohara committed suicide.
Rin’s feelings for Kakashi have been established. Although it is never established if Kakashi loved her in return, her feelings would add to Kakashi’s already deep sorrow and remorse over her death.
She was a lovely young lady who really cared about her coworkers and neighborhood. She often played the role of mediator while remaining neutral throughout Obito and Kakashi’s many quarrels. Rin was a brilliant young lady, as shown by her ability to learn and perform advanced medical ninjutsu at such a young age.
She showed her capacity to be attentive under stress when she mistaken Obito for dead and, after being kidnapped by the Kiri shinobi, she decided not to return to Konoha for fear of the village being attacked. Rin was a devoted person, as shown by her reluctance to abandon Obito despite the fact that her own life was in severe danger. She had a strong will, since she would not break even under the most severe genjutsu. While Obito had emotions for her, Rin kept them to herself, choosing to have romantic sentiments for Kakashi, which she finally revealed when Obito was knocked out by the cave-in.
Rin was similarly dedicated to her community, even laying down her life to protect it rather than risk becoming a major cause to its destruction.
When the three tails were on a mission in the Hidden Mist, the Hidden Mist ninja abducted Rin and transformed her into Jinchuuriki. Rin was supposed to return to the village, where they planned to break the seal, kill Rin, and unleash the three tails on the Hidden Leaf.
It was an accident he genuinely wished he could avoid. At the time, he had Chidori under his power. Rin jumped in front of his Chidori as he rushed towards a mist Shinobi who killed Rin. He didn’t want this to happen and tried to rescue Rin, but Rin knew there was no way he could save her.
What was Rin’s motivation for wanting Kakashi to kill her?
Rin Nohara was a member of Team Minato and a Konohagakure chnin. Kirigakure compelled her to become the jinchriki of the Three-Tails Isobu as part of his elaborate plot to destroy her village. Rin, on the other hand, would ultimately make the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the safety of those she loved.
Rin spent her childhood playing with her closest friend Obito Uchiha, and she was always supportive of him when he suffered.
Rin was there when Obito arrived after the ceremony had ended on the day of their admittance to the Academy, which disappointed him. Rin, on the other hand, gratefully presented Obito with his entrance papers. Rin was also the first to congratulate Kakashi Hatake on graduating a year ahead of the rest of his class from the Academy, Kakashi having earned his own forehead protector after mastering the Clone Technique.
During the Third Shinobi World War, Team Minato was entrusted with demolishing the Kannabi Bridge. Taiseki kidnapped Rin during the trip, and Kakk — another of her captors — used genjutsu to question her to see if she knew anything about Konoha’s military operations.
Rin’s will, on the other hand, proved to be too strong, and she remained unaffected by the genjutsu. She was subsequently saved by Kakashi and Obito. Obito was crushed in a cave-in despite the fact that they were successful in rescuing her. Obito, however, asked that Rin implant his Sharingan into Kakashi’s left eye socket to replace the latter’s damaged one before he “died.” Despite the terrible circumstances, Rin began surgery straight away, and she and Kakashi were forced to flee when enemy soldiers arrived and continued the cave-in.
Minato would later arrive on the scene and defeat the Iwa-nin. After Kakashi was rescued, the crew went on to complete their mission and destroy the bridge. As seen in the anime, Rin was sent on a mission alongside Kakashi and Guy. Guy served as a decoy to lure the Iwagakure shinobi away as their situation deteriorated, and Kakashi followed him.
Rin didn’t have much time to consider it. All she knew was that she had been injected with something and had been transformed into a biological time bomb. With less than an hour to think about it, she’s not willing to take that risk unless she thinks Minato can also encase bombs.
Madara Uchiha kidnapped Rin under the guise of Kirigakure’s doing some time after the events at Kannabi Bridge and imprisoned Isobu within her. She was also given the Forbidden Individual Curse Tag and instructed to unleash the tailed beast inside Konoha when she and Kakashi returned to the town.
Kakashi came to her rescue right away. To catch the tailed beast, several jnin and Anbu-level Kiri shinobi were sent to “hunt” it down. Rin, unable to commit herself, asked Kakashi to kill her in order to preserve the village, but Kakashi declined, saying that he had vowed to Obito to protect her by any means necessary.
Obito saw Kakashi, like Rin, as a victim. He held Kakashi responsible for Rin’s death, not for killing her, but for “allowing her die” and failing to keep his promise. Knowing Rin had the 3-Tails, he chose to die at Kakashi’s hands. Obito realizes that Kakashi would not just kill Rin. Kakashi was in desperate need of an explanation. Obito stood there seeing Rin take it via Kakashi’s eyes.
As a consequence, he never resented Kakashi for creating this situation and driving Rin to commit suicide, but rather the world. It’s never been about determining who murdered Rin. It’s about Rin’s misfortune.
What Was Rin’s Reason For Jumping In Front Of Kakashi’s Attack?
Because the concealed mist transformed Rin into a jinchuuriki of the three tails, Rin leapt in front of Kakashi’s Chidori. Isobu was worried that she wouldn’t be able to control the three tails and that they’d go on a rampage through the concealed leaves as the mist wanted.
The animals with tails will never die entirely. The three tails were “destroyed” when Rin was killed, but the chakra that makes up the tailed monsters, like matter, cannot be destroyed; it can only change forms. Isobu turned into a profusion of chakra that spread all over the area instead of a three-tailed turtle.
Madara turned Rin into the Jinchuuriki of the Three-Tails, but she was also Sealed with the “Forbidden Individual Curse Tag,” which was created so that if she got into Konoha, Isobu would be taken out immediately, and she was also Sealed so she couldn’t commit suicide.
Even if Kushina, Minato, Sarutobi, and others were there and could have stopped it, their very presence would have caused chaos and destruction. Rin, on the other hand, figured it out and asked Kakashi to murder her; he first refused, but later, in a fight with some Kiri-Nin sent to find Rin, Rin leapt in front of his Chidori, committing herself in the only manner she could.
Rin believed she didn’t have an option but to die. You might debate if that was necessary; if done properly, she could have stayed out of the village and brought Minato/Jiraiya/Kushina to cure her Seal, ensuring that she is either out of harm’s way or healed should things go wrong, but it was war, and they were young.
Rin was supposed to return to the village, where they planned to break the seal, kill Rin, and unleash the three tails on the Hidden Leaf. Rin saw this and jumped in front of Kakashi’s Chidori as he rushed towards a hidden Mist ninja, dying herself and foiling their plans.
Rin chose death over jeopardizing Konoha’s safety, which she did by intercepting Kakashi’s Chidori, which was meant to target a Kiri-nin, impaling herself, and dying before the man she loves, both unaware of Obito’s presence. Before dying, Rin used the last of her strength to scream out Kakashi’s name, startling the enemy ninja and frightening both Kakashi and Obito.
When Kakashi fell from exhaustion a few seconds later, Obito, who had been watching the tragedy unfold, responded by brutally and cruelly killing all the enemy ninja in sight before cradling Rin’s corpse and promising to create a world where he and Rin might one day be together again. Rin would spend her time in the afterlife keeping a close eye on Obito, as she had promised him long ago, and patiently waiting for him to join her.
Rin’s corpse is unknown, although it is believed that Obito buried her or that her body was found and brought to Konoha, where she was buried in the Konoha Cemetery.
Kakashi kills Rin in which episode?
Rin’s death at Kakashi’s hands is seen in episode 345, which upsets Obito, who witnesses the whole event unfold via his empty eye socket being replaced on Kakashi, despite their previous promise to protect her.
Although Obito is now in spirit form, it hurts him more to watch the lady he loved die while uttering another man’s name, but they were all his comrades in any case.
Because the monsters do not die with their hosts, Rin’s death did not put an end to the Mist Ninjas’ and their animals’ discontent. Instead, it returns to its beast world, where it will be replaced by another host. Rin was the only Jinchuuriki to die before the beast was freed from her.
Rin must have been relieved to be able to express her emotions to someone she admired, regardless of whether Kakashi believed her or not. Furthermore, the fact that she stated it after Obito’s death indicated that she saw him as a friend who did not want to be wounded by Kakashi’s affection.
As if that wasn’t enough, she must have preferred to die with her beloved rather than some Isobu beast. So Rin gave up her life, knowing that her community would be secure, and that her supposed lover would be among the people as well.
Why did Rin fall in love with Kakashi?
Because Kakashi was a genius who was ahead of his peers, Rin developed feelings for him while they were training together. Rin would give Kakashi a surprise party everytime he was promoted.
Rin’s feelings for Kakashi have been established. Although it is never established if Kakashi loved her in return, her feelings would add to Kakashi’s already deep sorrow and remorse over her death.
Her interactions with him offer proof. With all of her blushes whenever he achieves anything semi-significant, her almost fangirlish applauding when she thinks he needs help, and clandestine gift marketing parties behind his back, it’s strongly recommended that she build a wall.
At this time in the story, Kakashi Hatake is single. While many fans seem to have mixed feelings towards a girl named Hanare, Kakashi is canonically single in both the manga and anime series.
As a lover, Rin adored Kakashi. She, on the other hand, saw Obito as a true friend who was always there for him. Obito lived with his grandmother, who was trying to project himself as the Hokage in order to save Konoha from destruction. At initially, he was not as intelligent as Kakashi. Rin continuously pushed him to become the Hokage of Konoha, despite the fact that he was not as proficient in ninjutsu as Kakashi. Because of his father’s sudden death, Kakashi, on the other hand, was in agony and appeared disinterested in anything. Minato was worried that Kakashi might fall prey to the dark side.
Rin seldom seems to spend much time with Kakashi. Sakura’s fangirl infatuation with Sasuke was comparable to her fangirl adoration for him. It’s not quite similar, but it seems to fade quicker and is actually just a typical feminine preoccupation in high school. Rin spent more time with Obito than she did with Kakashi, and they spent more time together.
Was Kakashi ever in love with Rin?
Rin’s death had a lasting impression on her friends. It first caused both Kakashi and Obito, who had survived the cave-in and saw the events from afar, to awaken the Mangeky Sharingan in their respective eyes, prompting Obito to seek vengeance by killing every enemy ninja while sparing Kakashi.
After murdering Rin, Kakashi suffered post-traumatic stress disorder, having numerous dreams about her death (which lasted into adulthood), one of which included the impaled Rin muttering Kakashi’s name before furiously screaming it, which awakened Kakashi and left him frightened and guilty. Kakashi had been visiting Rin’s grave on a regular basis since her death, polishing her headstone and leaving flowers, even sharing top-secret information with her like Naruto Uzumaki’s birth, unaware that Obito was hiding. Rin’s death, like the deaths of everyone he cared about, hit Kakashi more than usual since Rin had both loved and murdered Kakashi with his own hands.
Despite being on the verge of death during Pain’s attack on Konoha, Kakashi expressed remorse for failing to protect Rin and promised to visit her and the rest of their team. Kakashi was obviously shocked, to the point of paralysis, when the topic of her death was brought up years later.
Kakashi followed the rules to the letter, one of which being that “a shinobi must not show any weakness.” He would have avoided being in love with a colleague at all costs since it would have been a major fault for him. We also got a glimpse of Obito’s feelings after he died.
Rin retaliates by trying to tell Kakashi that she loves him, but her effort is cut short. Because of the restrictions, he understands he can’t reciprocate her feelings… Not just because it would be insulting to Obito’s memory, but also because it would be inappropriate.
Obito’s sacrifice, you see, had a significant impact on Kakashi’s opinion of him. Kakashi no longer regarded him as a slacker, but as a hero. He even made it a point to visit his grave on a regular basis. In a war-torn planet, this leaves him with just two options: reject a shared love interest and vow to protect him/her for the sake of his memory, or accept the love interest for himself in order to preserve the person’s memory. The first choice was chosen by Kakashi, who promised to protect Rin not because he loved her, but because Obito did.
Obito would not have sunk into darkness and grief and become Madara’s puppet if Rin had not died.
Kakashi would have been a different person as well, since Rin’s death would have haunted him for years, as he had not only killed his friend but also broken a promise to another. All of this explains why Kakashi’s ninja technique was to never leave or allow his teammates die.
Obito would very certainly have returned to the Hidden Leaf and became Hokage.
Minato has no reason to lock half of the 9 tails within infant Naruto without Obito as a danger, thus Naruto will never become the 9 tails Jinchuriki. Naruto is reared with parents and regarded in great respect as the Hokage’s son, and Minato and Kushina never die.
Obito would not have assaulted Kushina and stolen the 9 tails, nor would he have unleashed it on the hamlet in this scenario, thus the 9 tails attack on the Hidden Leaf Hamlet never happens.
As a consequence, the Uchiha Clan is spared from extinction. The Uchiha are never ostracized by their peers or accused of inciting an event that never happened in the first place. As a consequence, they have no reason to rebel. Danzo is never given a reason to want to kill them, and Sasuke is never taught to hate Itachi.
Naruto and Sasuke would have grown up differently, valued things differently, and their whole personalities would have changed as a consequence.
It’s amazing how much one person’s death impacts the whole story.
